Does Starch Kill Wheat? Rectifying with the Theory of Dove-like Particles: The Century-Old Causality of Alzheimer’s Disease Is Completely Reversed

Sun Zuodong

For a long time, global medical research on Alzheimer’s disease has been trapped in a fundamental scientific fallacy. It is not merely a slight tilt of the theoretical foundation, but the entire disciplinary theoretical system was wrongly established on sandy land and seismic belts from the very beginning. It is just like the water supply and drainage pipelines being completely reversed, making the whole research system fundamentally unstable.

Before the proposal of this subversive theory, we had already verified the feasibility of neuromodulation technology through clinical product practice. Since the launch of the Aobo Brain Rehabilitation Therapeutic Apparatus in 1995, the world’s first Parkinson’s Therapeutic Apparatus and the world’s first Depression Therapeutic Apparatus were successively launched in 2011. The world’s first Alzheimer’s Therapeutic Apparatus was successfully developed and launched in 2014. The industrialization of a series of original medical devices has laid a solid clinical and practical foundation for subsequent breakthroughs in basic theories.

The proposal of the Theory of Dove-like Particles aims to clarify this fatal error based on years of clinical practice. We first put forward the Theory of Dove-like Particles, then established the Conservation Law of Cell Bioelectricity Membrane Area and the Ion Inequality Equation, and later published enlightening viewpoints based on the Potassium Channel Origami Windmill Model. These achievements form a complete theoretical system step by step. From the perspective of pure natural science, it restores the real pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease and corrects the century-long reversed causality.

It must be clearly pointed out that a series of achievements including the Theory of Dove-like Particles, the Conservation Law of Cell Bioelectricity Membrane Area, the Ion Inequality Equation and the Potassium Channel Origami Windmill Model start from the underlying scientific principles such as ion channel structure and the bioelectrical activity laws of cell membranes, directly pointing out the fundamental errors of the Aβ amyloid protein hypothesis.

I. A Century-Old Hypothesis with Its Foundation Built on Sand

The mainstream Aβ amyloid protein hypothesis has long occupied the core position in Alzheimer’s disease research. This theory holds that the abnormal deposition of amyloid protein in the brain is the primary cause of neuronal damage and cognitive decline. Regarded as an authoritative conclusion for decades, it has attracted huge global scientific research investment and formed a large academic and industrial system.

However, this hypothesis is not a partial deviation but a fundamental reversal of causality, a typical case of putting the cart before the horse. It is analogous to the logical fallacy of "starch killing wheat": starch residues are produced only after wheat withers and dies, rather than starch causing the death of wheat. Similarly, amyloid plaques in brain tissue are not the cause of the disease, but sedimentary debris left after neuronal apoptosis; they are the consequence rather than the inducement of the disease. The entire research system is built on a wrong causal foundation, just like a mansion erected on sand, doomed to an unstable root.

II. Flawed Experiments Solidifying the Wrong Research Direction

The key early experimental evidence supporting the Aβ hypothesis itself has major defects. More than eighteen years ago, some scholars concluded from mouse experiments that amyloid protein damages brain cells. The experimental design had obvious flaws and even elements of deliberate inducement. Nevertheless, it was taken as core evidence, further solidifying the wrong academic direction and leading global Alzheimer’s research astray for a long time.

III. The Theory of Dove-like Particles: Restoring the Real Pathogenesis

The Theory of Dove-like Particles clearly proposes that the core inducement of Alzheimer’s disease is the abnormal invasion of heavy metal ions such as copper and lead into neurons. After entering the cells, such heavy metal ions cannot be normally transported and excreted. They produce an effect where one ion displaces two ions, directly interfering with the normal ion distribution of cell membranes and causing a progressive decline in action potential amplitude.

According to the Conservation Law of Cell Bioelectricity Membrane Area, the Ion Inequality Equation and the Potassium Channel Origami Windmill Model proposed by us, ion channels are not static holes but continuously operating molecular windmills. Once heavy metals jam the operation of the windmills, the bioelectrical balance of cell membranes is instantly broken, neuronal function is rapidly impaired, and irreversible apoptosis eventually occurs. After massive neuronal apoptosis, the debris accumulates continuously, forming the widely studied amyloid plaques.

In short: abnormal action potentials occur first, neuronal death comes second, and amyloid deposition takes place last. Mainstream medical research reverses the order, focusing only on removing amyloid plaques while completely ignoring the core upstream problems of heavy metal accumulation and bioelectrical disorder, which is a typical practice of treating symptoms rather than root causes.

IV. Defeating the Hypothesis with Its Own Logic

In recent years, a growing number of clinical and experimental data have gradually verified the scientific nature of the Theory of Dove-like Particles, and the experimental flaws of the Aβ hypothesis have been continuously questioned by academic circles. However, academic barriers formed by vested interests still reject subversive theories.

Our arguments are completely based on basic natural sciences such as ion biology, bioelectrophysiology and cell membrane conservation, without relying on philosophical deduction. We overturn its wrong conclusions with the universally recognized scientific system of modern physiology, truly defeating the fallacy with its own theoretical basis.

V. Setting the Record Straight and Returning to the Origin of Science

After correcting the reversed causality, the intervention logic for Alzheimer’s disease becomes clear: only by blocking the influx of heavy metals, promoting the excretion of intracellular heavy metals, and restoring normal action potential levels can neurons be protected fundamentally.

Our series of industrialized neuromodulation therapeutic apparatuses have long served as the pioneering clinical practice of this theory, providing a brand-new non-pharmacological intervention approach for encephalopathies such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and depression. The proposal of the Theory of Dove-like Particles aims to set the record straight for Alzheimer’s disease research, correct century-old fallacies, guide the research on neurodegenerative diseases back to the essence of science, and bring new theoretical basis and therapeutic hope to hundreds of millions of patients worldwide.

Starch never kills wheat. What hinders scientific progress is the wrong theoretical foundation built on sand, as well as the deep-rooted academic cognition that refuses to face the fundamental reversed logical order.
